Pinch Valve

1″ (DN025) to 24″ (DN600), classes 150# and 300#

LEEDS Pinch Valves are high-performance valves designed for severe control or shut-off applications in the processing of mineral slurries and industrial process fluids.

LEEDS Pinch Valve bodies are closed and split, so there is no need to remove the valve from the pipeline to replace the hose, reducing plant maintenance costs. The closed body also prevents the hose elastomer from reacting with UV rays, increasing its useful life. Closed body valves are more suitable for mining applications, as they prevent slurry spillage and soil or effluent contamination if the hose ruptures during its useful life.

At the top of the valve, there are 2 side guides which, added to the 2 hose crushing rods, total 4 guide rods, which gives the valve a longer service life when applied in horizontal installation. This entire robust structure translates into greater valve durability.

Elastomer tubes can be supplied in multiple layers of Kevlar, enabling a wider pressure range and allowing valves to be manufactured in larger diameters.

LEEDS Pinch Valves are supplied with:

– Supports at the valve base for sizes above DN250 (10 inches);
– Limit switches for blocking applications;
– Mechanical position indicator;
– Positioner for control applications;
– Double layer composite paint (epoxy + polyurethane) in the standard Leeds color or in the customer’s standard color.
